Haiti

Even before the earthquake in 2010 Haiti was the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Natural disasters and decades of political mismanagement gave this weak state a notorious reputation. And yet a fascination exudes from this devastated country with its rich culture, which is more influenced by Africa and little by other Caribbean countries.
